MC Farm Engagement
It’s not only the Equestrian Team that enjoys Scots Ridge Farm – the whole Maryville College community is welcome!
In 2023, we hosted the AD Sara Quatrocky and the entire Athletic Department for a half-day retreat. They broke into teams and learned about horse care with a friendly stall-cleaning competition. Then they completed obstacle courses with Nibblet and rode College horses.
The Business Office visited for a Leadership Coaching and Teambuilding retreat that included obstacle courses with horses. More departments to visit soon!

Work Study
Anyone at MC (no horse experience required) is eligible for paid Work Study jobs at the farm. We are grateful and welcome them for stall-cleaning, hay-stacking, watering, and other skills! A special shout-out to the football team who do special conditioning and work-outs helping us in the barns.
