The Maryville College Equestrian Team (MCET) is comprised of undergraduate students of all experience levels, from complete beginners to seasoned competitors. Our riders come from unique backgrounds and major in a wide range of subjects, creating an exciting and diverse dynamic within the team.

Incoming freshmen who are interested in being a part of the MCET are encouraged to contact Christen Khym as early as possible in order to be eligible to participate in "boot camp" in August before classes begin. This weeklong camp is for all members, new and returning, and entails daily lessons, service projects, and other activities to allow for team building and orientation into the program.

MCET also sets up an informational table at the Opportunities of a Lifetime fair at the beginning of each year for members who may not have heard of the team before arriving on campus.
